It’s ok to feel how you feel

I’ve heard from a lot of mums recently who are feeling guilty about the way they feel about their baby’s birth.


It’s as if that awful phrase “all that matters is a healthy baby” has sunk in and stuck.


It’s an awful phrase because it’s so far from the truth.


You matter, mama, and if you’re not ok, things and people around you aren’t ok either.


Your baby is energetically connected to you, and if not for your own sake, but for theirs, you need to make sure you’re able to feel the best you possibly can, to be the best mum you can be to them.


Self-care isn’t selfish, it’s vital, otherwise you’re unable to hold space for your baby and children … because you just don’t have any space left.
