Chronic stress levels that many of us experience from normal mum life have been exacerbated by the pandemic and the demands that brought… increasing depression, anxiety and burnout. 🤯

What can we do to counteract mum guilt??

Instead of being critical of ourselves, ❌ self-compassion requires us to behave kindly and with understanding towards ourselves.❤️‍🩹

When we become aware of, and give ourselves permission to turn down the critical voice, we start to be able to tune in to a more compassionate voice, and things start to change. 💖

With practise you become more able to hear your self-compassionate and kind voice and you start to feel less anxious, and more worthy of prioritising time for yourself.💝

Check back tomorrow for five tips to help you become more self-compassionate and combat mum guilt.
